Some drills are independent.
Some drills can be added onto other drills. This is one of those drills.
If you find that you or a player you know keeps leaning back and shooting little, mini-fadeaways on open shots, or they always seem to be missing short – try adding the BOUNCE ON TOES at the end of the shot.
Now, if you are trying to do this drill and you find that you either can’t hop forward, or you can’t keep your heels off the ground you need to fix your posture – it isn’t that the drill won’t work for you. The drill is just exposing the very reason for your issue. Your posture at the beginning of your shot is causing you to lean back as you shoot.
So fix the posture at the beginning of the shooting motion.
This is just one of the drills I do in my SHOOTING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM “7 Days to Better BALANCE”
- You get 45+ videos, all in the order I want you to see them.
- All the drills that I want you doing.
- All the little reminders I’d give you if we were in the gym in person.
- Two hours of video content, and you get lifetime access so you can take the program over and over if needed, or pull the 2-3 drills that help you the most.
This program would cost $2000 if we did it live and in person.
